We're looking for an experienced Account Manager to join our Derby operation. Acting as the key link between our customer and DHL operations teams, you'll play a critical role in driving service excellence, identifying growth opportunities and ensuring operational performance exceeds expectations. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong supply chain background, ideally within retail logistics, who enjoys building relationships, solving complex challenges and delivering measurable results.
✅A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE
- Acting as the primary point of contact between DHL and the customer, building trusted and professional relationships.
- Reviewing operational performance and service KPIs, identifying trends and driving improvement actions.
- Leading customer meetings, performance reviews and quarterly business reviews to discuss service delivery and future opportunities.
- Working closely with operational managers to ensure customer requirements are understood and consistently delivered.
- Resolving customer escalations, coordinating stakeholders and ensuring issues are followed through to successful resolution.
- Identifying opportunities for growth, additional services and continuous improvement initiatives across customer accounts.
- Analysing data and performance reports to uncover insights that improve service, efficiency and commercial performance.
