Riva Foods are looking for an experienced and motivated Team Leader to join our production team. You will be responsible for leading a line to deliver the daily production plan safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards, while supporting and developing your team in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver daily production targets and ensure all products meet customer specifications.
- Complete start-up checks and ensure equipment, materials and documentation are ready for production.
- Monitor hourly performance, resolve issues quickly and maintain strong KPI awareness.
- Lead, train and motivate your team to achieve high standards of quality, safety and efficiency.
- Record labour, waste, yield and other key metrics accurately.
- Ensure adherence to food safety, hygiene, CCP, GMP and customer requirements.
- Support product changeovers, breakdown response and continuous improvement activities.
- Communicate effectively with QA, Supervisors and other departments to resolve issues.
- Maintain audit readiness and ensure excellent housekeeping and PPE compliance.
Skills & Experience
- Experience in FMCG (preferably food manufacturing).
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Strong understanding of production processes and continuous improvement.
- Good communication skills and confidence working with multiple departments.
- Computer literacy (Microsoft Office).
- Able to work under pressure, prioritise tasks and solve problems quickly.
- Level 2 Food Safety (or willingness to achieve).
