Overview
We are seeking a proactive and dedicated Gardener/Grounds Maintenance/Driver to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining beautiful, healthy landscapes and ensuring the smooth transportation of materials and personnel. Your enthusiasm for gardening, horticulture, and landscape upkeep will contribute to creating inviting outdoor spaces. Additionally, your driving skills will support efficient site operations. Duties
- Perform routine gardening tasks such as planting, pruning, mowing, weeding, and mulching to keep landscapes vibrant and well-maintained
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and irrigation systems to support landscape care and ensure proper watering and plant health
- Maintain and repair irrigation systems to promote healthy growth across various garden areas
- Use gardening and horticultural knowledge to assist with plant selection, soil preparation, and landscape design projects
- Drive company vehicles safely to transport tools, materials, or personnel between sites while adhering to all safety regulations
- Support landscape maintenance activities including fertilizing, aerating, and pest control measures as needed
- Conduct regular inspections of outdoor spaces to identify issues early and perform necessary repairs or adjustments
Requirements
- Proven experience in gardening, horticulture, or landscape maintenance with growing expertise in plant care and landscape upkeep
- Full UK Driving License
- Ability to operate hand tools such as shovels, pruners, rakes, and hoes efficiently
- Experience with irrigation systems installation and maintenance is highly desirable
- Skilled in using power tools safely for various landscaping tasks
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating company vehicles preferred
- Knowledge of gardening best practices and landscape management techniques
- Strong physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions
- Excellent attention to detail combined with a proactive approach to grounds care

Pay: £25,420.00-£30,000.00 per year
