Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, utensils, and equipment in accordance with food safety standards
- Support the cooking process by preparing ingredients and following recipes accurately
- Ensure proper storage of ingredients and leftovers to prevent contamination and waste
- Help serve to customers in a courteous and efficient manner
- Follow health and safety regulations diligently to uphold a safe working environment
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods
Qualifications
- Previous experience in catering, cooking, or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory
- Basic knowledge of food preparation, meal assembly, and kitchen safety practices
- Strong interest in cooking and willingness to learn new skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork
- Familiarity with food safety standards and proper hygiene procedures is advantageous
- Prior experience with serving or assisting in food service roles is a plus
