This is an exciting opportunity for an organised and proactive individual to lead our reception team. You will be responsible for the day to day managmenet of reception services, including oversight of the appointment system, patient access and team performance, ensuring a professional and efficient service at all times at our progressive GP practice – Queensway Medical Centre in Poulton-Le-Fylde.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision and continuing professional development of our reception team ensuring that the team:
- Oversee the daily running of the reception team
- Manage and maintain the appointment system, ensuring effective access for patients
- Co-ordinate clinician's rotas, appointment availability and clinic templates
- Lead, supervise and support reception staff, including training and developement
- Ensuring high standards of patient care and customer service at all times
- Act as the first point of escalation for patient queries and complaints aligned to reception services
- Monitor workflows and implement improvements to enhance efficiency
- Ensure compliance with practice policies, CQC standards and GDPR
- Work closely with the clinicians and the management team to support service delivery
The successful applicant will need to be an effective communicator and have had previous experience of team management within Primary Care/GP Practice. We are seeking someone with a supervisory/manager experience.
The hours of work would be 37 .5hours per week
Standard week Monday and Friday 8.00am-16.00pm
shift changes may be required to cover holidays and sickness.
