Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable HGV Class 2 Driver to join our team. As a HGV Driver, you will be responsible for the loading of tyres onto the vehicle safely and efficiently (assisted with a drivers mate) and transporting End of Life Tyres to our Site, This is a full-time position with competitive pay. ''Overtime may be required''
Duties:
- Operate vehicle to transport End of Life Tyres to our Site.
- Ensure the safe loading and unloading of Tyres onto the vehicle.
- Plan routes and navigate through traffic to ensure timely Collections.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks, daily.
- Maintain accurate records of Collections, including Waste Transfer Notes.
- Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients during Collections.
Qualifications:
- CPC Card
- Valid commercial driving license
- Proven experience as a driver or in a similar role
- Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record
- Knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects when necessary
