About the Role
As a Support Worker, you’ll play a vital role in helping individuals achieve their goals, develop life skills, and live safely and confidently. Whether it’s supporting someone with daily routines, health appointments, or social activities, no two days are the same.
You’ll be working in a person-centred, empowering way—promoting dignity, independence, and respect at every step.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individualised, person-centred support based on care plans
- Support with day-to-day activities including personal care, meals, medication, and household tasks
- Promote independence and wellbeing through active support
- Record and maintain accurate digital care notes and reports
- Work effectively as part of a team and communicate clearly with colleagues, families, and professionals
- Contribute to the development and review of support plans
What We’re Looking For
- Knowledge and confidence using digital systems (for logging care notes, communication, and medication records) is essential
- Transferable skills from other sectors (e.g. hospitality, education, customer service, etc.) are welcome – we provide full training
- A positive attitude and a genuine desire to support others
- Ability to work flexibly, including some evenings, weekends, or sleep-in shifts as needed
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Qualifications & Training
- NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care is desirable but not essential
- If you do not hold a Level 3, you must be willing to work towards it – and we will support you
- All successful candidates will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check
