Overview of role: -
This position plays a vital role within the SightCare Team and is integral to the overall success of SightCare. We are seeking an intelligent and motivated individual with a positive, proactive attitude and strong ‘can-do’ mindset. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to identify challenges and develop effective solutions. A strong team player who can also work independently, this individual must possess excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work in a dynamic fast paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Finance function, with the new AI System of processing of invoices. This will include monitoring the inboxes, responding to queries and supporting with any problems that may occur.
· Customer Relations: Maintaining strong customer relationships, handling phone and email enquiries, and providing excellent customer service. Regularly updating member records and managing records in the CRM system.
· Order Processing: Understanding and processing customer orders accurately and efficiently – from the various methods of incoming orders.
· Maintain the high standards and requirements of large contracts when sending orders and processing them.
· Manage the daily post incoming and outgoing.
· Account Maintenance: Maintaining accurate and up-to-date customer accounts, including billing, payments, and other relevant information.
· Compliance: Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and relevant regulations.
· Support the annual member conference with the administration of the event – this may include liaising with members, speakers, suppliers and the venue and will include maintenance of related data sources as well as attendance at the event to support all stakeholders onsite.
· Marketing & Events: supporting with the arrangements for meetings, sourcing venues and speakers seeking quotations. Sending invitations (printed and email) and monitoring replies and attendance etc.
· Communications: regular collation of online industry news coverage, managing orders for 6-monthly patient newsletters and liaising with associated customers and suppliers.
· Training: recording training booking details, sending delegate confirmations, raising invoices and ensuring prompt collection of payments.
· Reporting: quarterly updating of management data across all areas of responsibility for reporting purposes.

· Accounting Knowledge: some understanding of accounting principles and procedures.
· Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to interact effectively with a wide variety of stakeholders.
· Organisational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
· Technical Skills: IT literate, , advanced MS Excel essential, experience of CRM systems advantageous.
· A Levels – Grade 4/C or above (Maths)
Pay: £24,850.00 per year
