Overview
We are seeking a self-employed full-time window cleaner and driver to join our team. This role offers the flexibility of working independently while providing essential window cleaning services to our valued clients. The ideal candidate will be reliable, professional, and possess excellent communication skills to ensure customer satisfaction. As a self-employed worker, you will manage your own schedule and operations, delivering high-quality service with a focus on safety and efficiency.
Duties
- Safely operate a vehicle to travel between client locations in a timely manner
- Professionally clean windows using appropriate tools and techniques, ensuring a streak-free finish
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide excellent customer service
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, including cleaning equipment and supplies after each job
- Manage appointments and schedules independently, ensuring punctuality and reliability
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times during work activities
- Keep accurate records of completed jobs and client interactions for invoicing purposes
Qualifications
- Valid driving licence with a clean driving record
- Proven experience in driving and window cleaning or similar roles is desirable but not essential; training can be provided
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to build rapport with clients
- Organised, reliable, and able to work independently without supervision
- Good physical fitness to handle the demands of the job, including working at heights and carrying equipment
- Self-motivated with good time management skills to meet deadlines effectively
