Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Store Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our retail environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. This role offers an opportunity to manage a team effectively, optimise sales performance, and ensure the smooth running of store activities. The successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining high standards of merchandising, organisation, and team management to foster a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate the store team to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service
- Supervise daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures
- Manage stock levels, organise merchandising displays, and ensure products are presented attractively
- Provide training and support to team members to enhance their performance and development
- Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to maximise revenue
- Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and feedback with professionalism and courtesy
- Oversee administrative tasks such as scheduling staff shifts, maintaining records, and reporting on store performance
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
- Foster a positive team environment through effective communication and organisational skills
Requirements
- Proven management or supervisory experience within a retail or similar environment
- Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to supervise and develop teams effectively
- Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and organisational abilities
- Multilingual or bilingual skills are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases
- Experience in sales management, merchandising, and retail operations is preferred
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently
- Administrative experience related to staff scheduling, record keeping, or reporting
- Organised with excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a professional attitude
