Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organised Dental Receptionist to join our dental practice. for 2 to 3 days a week. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth daily operations. Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and professionally upon arrival, creating a welcoming atmosphere
- Manage patient appointments, including scheduling, confirming, and rescheduling as needed
- Answer phone calls promptly and courteously, directing inquiries appropriately
- Maintain accurate patient records and update information in the practice management system
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and processing payments
- Liaise with dental staff to ensure smooth communication between patients and practitioners
- Ensure the reception area remains tidy, organised, and welcoming at all times
- Assist with general office duties to support the efficient running of the practice
Requirements
- Previous office or administrative experience is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly demeanour
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment while maintaining professionalism
- Proficiency in basic computer applications such as MS Office or similar software
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn about dental administrative procedures
