Overview
We are seeking a dynamic Relief Sous Chef to join our team in. This vital role involves stepping into the shoes of our regular staff to ensure seamless food service and kitchen operations. As a Relief Chef you will bring your culinary expertise, leadership skills, and passion for hospitality to deliver outstanding experiences for our guests and support our team’s success.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality food preparation and cooking to meet the restaurant’s standards and customer expectations
- Supervise and manage kitchen activities during your shift, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to food safety protocols
- Lead food service efforts, including serving guests efficiently and courteously
- Oversee food safety practices, maintaining cleanliness and compliance with health regulations
- Support team management by guiding staff, fostering teamwork, and maintaining a positive work environment
- Assist with food production tasks such as prepping ingredients, assembling dishes, and ensuring timely delivery of orders
- Step into leadership roles when needed, demonstrating excellent hospitality and culinary skills
Requirements
- Proven experience in food production, cooking, or kitchen environments within hospitality or restaurant settings
- Supervising experience with a track record of effective team management
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and restaurant operations
- Excellent leadership qualities combined with hands-on culinary skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in hospitality, including serving guests and supporting food service teams
- A passion for culinary excellence and delivering memorable guest experiences
Pay: £19.00 per hour
