Guillotine Operator / Print Finisher
Prestige Print is a well-established commercial printing company based in Telford. As we celebrate nearly 40 years in business, we continue to invest in our people and are looking to recruit a reliable, enthusiastic and hardworking Guillotine Operator / Print Finisher to join our production team.
Whether you already have experience within the printing industry or are looking to learn a skilled trade, we would be pleased to hear from you. Full training will be provided for the right candidate.
Job Responsibilities
Your duties will include:
- Operating guillotine cutting machines safely and accurately.
- Carrying out a variety of print finishing duties, including cutting, folding, creasing, perforating, collating, laminating and general finishing work.
- Inspecting finished work to ensure it meets our high quality standards.
- Packing completed jobs and preparing customer orders for dispatch.
- Working closely with colleagues to ensure customer delivery deadlines are achieved.
- Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment.
- Assisting with other production duties, when required, to help ensure the smooth running of the factory.
About You
The ideal candidate will:
- Be reliable, punctual and hardworking.
- Have good practical and organisational skills.
- Take pride in producing work of a high standard.
- Have excellent attention to detail.
- Work well both independently and as part of a team.
- Be willing to learn new skills and undertake training.
- Previous experience in print finishing or operating a guillotine would be an advantage, but is not essential.

We produce everything from brochures, manuals and NCR sets to labels, booklets and bespoke printed products, serving customers primarily within a 25-mile radius of Telford, while also supplying clients throughout the UK.
