Working Hours
Your working hours will be: 08:00 – 17:00
You will work a permanent rolling rota of three shifts on, three shifts off, averaging 31.5 hours per week.
About the Role
As a Housekeeper, you will play an essential part in creating a warm, clean and comfortable environment for our residents, visitors and colleagues. Your attention to detail and commitment to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness will help ensure our home remains a place where residents feel proud, safe and happy.
Working as part of our housekeeping team, your responsibilities will include:
- Cleaning resident bedrooms, bathrooms and communal areas to the highest standards
- Ensuring all areas of the home are clean, tidy and well presented
- Following infection prevention and control procedures at all times
- Safely using cleaning equipment and products
- Reporting any maintenance issues or health and safety concerns promptly
- Supporting the team to provide a welcoming environment for residents, families and visitors
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the home
About You
We're looking for someone who:
- Takes pride in their work and has excellent attention to detail
- Is reliable, hardworking and well organised
- Has a positive attitude and enjoys working as part of a team
- Is friendly, approachable and respectful towards residents and colleagues
- Understands the importance of cleanliness within a care home environment
- Has previous housekeeping or cleaning experience (preferred but not essential)
Most importantly, you'll care about creating a home where residents feel comfortable, respected and valued every day.
