Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Catering Assistant to join our dynamic food service team. Responsibilities
- Assist in food preparation and presentation, ensuring all dishes meet quality standards and safety regulations
- Serve food and beverages to guests efficiently and courteously, maintaining excellent guest services at all times
- Support the setup and breakdown of catering events, including arranging tables, chairs, and buffet stations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and serving areas in compliance with food safety standards
- Deliver catering orders to designated locations promptly while adhering to delivery protocols (delivery driver experience is a plus)
- Handle phone inquiries professionally, providing information about menu options or event details with clear communication skills
- Support meal preparation activities, including chopping, assembling, and portioning ingredients as directed by chefs or supervisors
Skills
- Strong background in hospitality, restaurant service, or culinary environments with relevant experience preferred
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper handling of food items
- Experience in food preparation, cooking, or kitchen operations is highly desirable
- Previous roles involving guest services or serving demonstrate excellent customer interaction skills
- Ability to operate as a delivery driver or handle transportation responsibilities effectively (delivery driver experience is a bonus)
- Excellent communication skills with professional phone etiquette for interacting with clients and team members
- Familiarity with meal preparation techniques and maintaining high standards of cleanliness in kitchen settings
- Experience working in hotel or barista environments adds valuable insight into fast-paced service settings
