Following an increase in activity, we are looking to strengthen our diverse team with the appointment of 1 full time permanent position of Shopfloor Assistant in our plastics manufacturing facility based in Carluke. This is a great opportunity to join a growing company under a new management making significant investment for future growth.
Working Hours: 39 hours / week (7:30am to 6pm, 4 days/week)
Ideal candidates would demonstrate a high level of attention to detail and keen eye for quality while carrying out duties. Previous experience in a manufacturing environment and holding a forklift licence are beneficial but not necessary. The ideal candidate is thorough, reliable with an excellent timekeeping record and great work ethic.
The duties include but not limited to a variety of factory shopfloor activities such as, manual handling, machine operating, product picking, inspection and packing, labelling, cleaning, assembly work and other general duties as required. In addition, to comply fully with all current Health & Safety regulations in operation within the company whilst carrying out duties.
