Role: Senior Care Assistant
Pay - £14.00 PH
Hours - 36 per week
Location: Middlesbrough
Standby Healthcare are recruiting for Senior Care Assistants in Middlesbrough— an exciting opportunity to join a well‑established provider supporting adults in both community settings and care homes. Due to continued growth, we are expanding our dedicated team who are committed to delivering high‑quality, person‑centred care. You’ll play a key role in supporting individuals to live safely, comfortably, and with dignity.
Role responsibilities:
- Provide person‑centred care to adults in the community and care homes
- Support with personal care, mobility, meals, and daily living tasks
- Complete wellbeing checks and report any changes
- Lead by example and support junior staff
- Communicate clearly with families, colleagues, and professionals
- Keep accurate care notes and records
- Assist with care planning and reviews
- Follow safeguarding and emergency procedures
- Promote independence, choice, and wellbeing
- Support safe medication tasks (if trained)
- Use correct moving and handling techniques
- Build positive, trusting relationships with service users
To be successful you will:
- Previous experience as a Senior Care Assistant
- Full UK Driving License with access to own vehicle
- Ability to travel up to 1 hour
