Counter Production Ltd are a leading Solid Surface / Corian fabricator operating at the top of the kitchen and bathroom industry. A family firm, we have been trading for almost 40 years. We are one of the largest Corian fabricators in the UK.
We are currently seeking a CNC Operator to join our production team
You will work on predominantly our MultiCam Apex 1R machine, no prior experience of operating this CNC machine or any CNC is necessary. What is more important is someone who is a quick learner, reliable and able to multi task.
Specific Responsibilities include:
- To set, operate and run the CNC machine efficiently
- To utilise CNC machining methods and techniques
· Lifting of sheet material onto machine will be required, so physical ability important.
· To be able to recognise and understand basic machine coding once taught.
- Machine tooling and setting.
This position requires the following key skills and attributes :
- Ideally will have worked with a flatbed CNC machine but this is not essential.
- Knowledge of MS Office is useful but training can be given.
- Self-motivated, working as part of a team and under own initiative
- Time management and organisational skills, with the ability to ‘problem solve’
- Excellent attention to detail
- The ability to communicate (both written and verbal) clearly and effectively in English
We will consider candidates who have less experience but the desire to learn a new skill, perhaps you have worked in a factory/ machining environment and feel you have the right attributes to undertake this role.
