Job Opportunity: Cook at The Old School Tearooms
We’re looking for a friendly and reliable member to join us at The Old School Tearooms.
Location: The Old School Tearooms
Position: Perminent
Hours: Tuesday 10am–4pm, Wednesday 9am-4pm, Thursday 10am-4pm
You will be given the opportunity of overtime when it is available and you will also be scheduled to work some bank holidays.
What you’ll be doing:
- Preparing, baking and cooking simple, traditional tearoom meals – think soups, quiches, pies, scones and light lunches.
- Ensuring the kitchen is clean, organised, and operating smoothly
- Working alongside a small, welcoming team in a relaxed and customer-focused environment
What we’re looking for:
- Cooking experience (tearoom or café setting preferred, but not essential)
- A good sense of timing and cleanliness in the kitchen
- A positive, can-do attitude and ability to work independently
- Food hygiene certificate (or willingness to get one)
