Accounts & Administration Assistant

We are a friendly, client-focused accountancy practice that prides itself on delivering excellent customer service. We are looking for an experienced and organised Accounts & Administration Assistant to join our team in a varied role combining administration and bookkeeping duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Scanning, filing, and general administrative duties
- Carrying out Anti-Money Laundering (AML) checks
- Maintaining and updating client records
- Bank reconciliations
- Uploading and processing receipts via Hubdoc
- Assisting with VAT bookkeeping & MTD
- Data entry and receipt processing
- Assisting with Self-Assessment tax returns
About You
The ideal candidate will:
- Have previous experience in a similar bookkeeping and/or administrative role
- Be highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Have good communication skills
- Be confident using computer software and office systems
- Be able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Experience using Xero, Hubdoc, and other cloud-based accounting software would be advantageous, although full training can be provided
No formal qualifications are required; however, relevant experience is essential.

Location: Mansfield
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:00pm (flexibility can be discussed)
Salary: £13.00 – £17.00 per hour, depending on experience
