Bench Joiner – Full-Time
Sherburn-in-Elmet (near Leeds)

Mon–Thu: 7:30am–4:30pm | Fri: 7:30am–2:30pm (40 hours per week)
Overtime available (paid at time and a half, voluntary)

Established in 1989, David H Wright Joinery Manufacturers has over 37 years of experience producing high-quality bespoke timber windows, doors, and conservatories/orangeries for clients across Yorkshire.
As we expand with a second manufacturing facility, we're looking for a skilled and motivated Wood Machinist/Bench Hand Joiner to join our growing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate woodworking machinery including:
- Crosscut saw, rip saw, 4-sided planer, spindle moulder, morticer, and tenoner
- Manufacture and assemble: Timber windows, doors, frames, sashes, and sliding sash windows
- Work efficiently as part of a team in a workshop environment
- Follow health & safety protocols and company procedures
- Take pride in producing high-standard bespoke joinery
What We’re Looking For
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar joinery or wood machining role
- NVQ Lv2/3 in Bench Joinery
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills
- Strong attention to detail and work ethic
- Commitment to quality and safety standards
- Experience in a similar role manufacturing timber windows and doors
- Experience setting out ,machining and assembling complicated items such as curved/arched timber windows and doors, Bay and Bow windows (preferred but not essential)
