Duties
- Serve drinks and beverages efficiently and courteously to customers at the bar and tables
- Take orders accurately and ensure timely delivery of orders to guests
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area in accordance with food safety standards
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age and adhere to licensing regulations
- Restock bar supplies and monitor inventory levels regularly
- Handle cash transactions accurately and operate the till system
- Assist in setting up and clearing tables as needed during busy periods
- Provide friendly advice on drink selections and promote special offers or events
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
- Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible serving practices
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly, approachable manner
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Ability to work well within a team and independently when required
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holiday periods as needed
- A positive attitude with a genuine interest in delivering outstanding customer service

What you’ll be doing:
Serving customers
Handling cash and card payments
Keeping the bar and work areas clean and tidy
Using the till system and card machines
Working in a busy, fast-paced environment while providing great customer service
What we’re looking for:
Aged 18+
Reliable with good time management
Friendly with excellent communication skills
Polite, hardworking, and a team player
High standards of personal hygiene and presentation
Available to work weekends (unless agreed otherwise before employment)
