Job description
We are looking for a kind hearted enthusiastic female to join our small team of carers to support a young lady in her own home. The lady is outgoing and she has a good sense of humour. She loves to chat and enjoys going out and about in the community.
Staff must demonstrate an organised, efficient and flexible approach to the job.
Full training will be given.
Responsibilities
To assist the lady with personal care tasks such as washing, dressing and toileting.
Assist her with eating, drinking and preparing meals. Perform light housekeeping duties,
Assist in the safe lifting, transferring and repositioning using a track hoist. Wheelchair user. Full training will be given.
Administer medications as directed by the medical providers and family. Full training will be given.
Accompany her to medical appointments, shopping trips and days out.
Other
Clean driving licence. (Client has own car)
Training in Safe Client Handling Desirable but not essential as training will be given.
Applicants must be flexible, caring, understanding and enthusiastic.

Hours
94 Hours per Month
Average 23.5 Hours per week. (This includes 1 overnight per week)
