Salary: £25,000 to £28,000 (DOE) plus excellent benefits
Hours: Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm (will require flexibility)
Are you an organised administrator with a passion for people, learning and development? We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established UK manufacturing organisation seeking a Human Resources & Learning & Development Administrator to join its busy HR team.

The Role
Working closely with the HR team and managers across the business, you'll provide professional administrative support across Human Resources and Learning & Development, ensuring processes are delivered accurately, confidentially and in line with company policies and UK employment legislation.
You'll be responsible for supporting recruitment, onboarding, employee records, training administration and HR reporting, helping to ensure employees receive the right support and development throughout their career.
Key Responsibilities
Human Resources
- Provide first-line HR administrative support to employees and managers.
- Prepare contracts of employment, offer letters and contractual documentation.
- Coordinate recruitment campaigns, interviews and onboarding activities.
- Process pre-employment checks including Right to Work and DBS applications where required.
- Maintain accurate employee records and electronic personnel files.
- Support payroll, pensions, employee benefits and absence management.
- Prepare documentation for disciplinary, grievance and capability processes.
- Produce HR reports and management information.
Learning & Development
- Administer the Learning Management System.
- Coordinate internal and external training courses.
- Maintain training records, competency matrices and qualification records.
- Monitor statutory and refresher training compliance.
- Support apprenticeship and leadership development programmes.
- Produce monthly learning and development reports.
- Assist with training needs analysis and succession planning activities.
About You
We're looking for someone who is organised, proactive and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
You'll ideally have:
- Previous experience in an HR, Learning & Development or administrative support role.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Outstanding attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Experience working with HR or information systems would be advantageous.
- The ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
