The role
As Neighbourhood Manager, you will lead and manage the Merseyside Neighbourhood Team, ensuring the delivery of a high-quality, professional and customer-focused tenancy and housing management service for Regenda Homes customers.
You will play a pivotal role in bringing our Neighbourhood Strategy to life, creating strong, supportive and inclusive neighbourhoods where people feel safe, connected and able to thrive, enabling residents to live happy and healthy lives.
As a key member of the wider Housing Management Team, you will work collaboratively across the organisation to deliver excellent services and positive outcomes for customers. You will inspire, motivate and develop your team, driving performance and ensuring the successful delivery of the Regenda Group Board's vision and strategic objectives as set out in the Corporate Plan.
The right fit

A professional qualification in Housing (level 4 or above) or willingness to work towards within a 2 year period.

Significant experience of managing at ‘middle manager’ level with responsibility within housing or direct relevant field. Experience of managing frontline services with dispersed teams and remote service delivery.

Strong knowledge of current social housing legislation and good practice, including regulatory standards, tenant satisfaction measures (TSMs), managing complaints within the scope of The Housing Ombudsman Service and tenancy and estate management processes including ASB.

Good knowledge of the care, support, and housing sector relating to contract management, housing and social law, local service commissioning and relevant regulatory standards.

Awareness and experience of the economic, social and environmental context of the local neighbourhoods in which we operate and risks to customers and Regenda.

Strong budget management experience, with an understanding of what drives costs and performance within the service and a clear focus on the achievement of improved value for money and efficiency.

A strong track record of effective partnership working with a range of external agencies and ability to negotiate with and influence partners and stakeholders to achieve shared aims.

Experience in policy writing, research and development.

Experienced in contract management, quality control and dispute resolution.

Excellent attention to detail and focus on quality to ensure processes are followed, information is accurate and service standards high.

Strong ICT skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Full UK Drivers licence, have access to a car and business insurance for mileage claim purposes.

Be prepared to work flexibly outside of normal office hours, as required.
