ELECTRICAL / FIRE ALARM FIELD SERVICE ENGINEER / OTE £400 PER DAY + EXPENSES - IMMEDIATE START

We are a small yet growing business based in the South Midlands area seeking Electrical Qualified Field Engineers, based in London, with experience in Electrical Testing and Installation, Fire Alarms and ideally Security Systems (Intruder and CCTV). The position is to cover work in the area to carry out both planned maintenance, reactive call outs and small installation works.
We are looking to fill these positions as soon as possible.
The position will initially be on a sub-contractor basis, with the opportunity to join the team on a full time employee basis after an initial 3 - 6 month probation period if required.
- OTE of £400 per day (Basic Pay minimum £20 per day plus bonus)
- Working hours are Monday to Friday (40 hour week).
- Overtime and weekends always available.
- Invoices & Expenses paid weekly
Your role as an Electrical and Fire Alarm Field Engineer will include:
Role & Responsibilities:
- Installation, service & maintenance of Fire Alarms, CCTV and Intruder Alarms.
- EICR testing, Emergency Light Testing, Portable Appliance Testing and small Electrical Installation works
- Good fault-finding skills and resolving technical issues.
- Attending to multiple clients predominantly within central London and surrounding areas you will be happy to travel. Most of the work is within this area, however you should be prepared to travel across the UK and stay away from home if required (very rarely).
The Ideal Person Will Have:
- Excellent communication skills, be RELIABLE and have the ability to think on their feet.
- Located geographically in London or the surrounding area.
- Well-organised, presentable and confident with a ‘can do’ attitude.
- A good knowledge of fire alarm systems and ideally security and CCTV systems.
- A Full UK driving License and own works vehicle
- At least 5 years experience within the Electrical / or Fire industry.
Qualifications:
· IET 18th Edition (Essential)
· Electrical Installation C&G Level 2 (Essential)
Electrical Inspection and Testing C&G 2391-52 or equivalent (Essential)
· FIA Certification (Advantageous)
· Asbestos Awareness (Advantageous)
· IPAF (Advantageous)
· DBS Clearance (Advantageous)
