Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Office Administrator/ Transport Operative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily administrative tasks, supporting office operations, and ensuring a smooth workflow. Duties
- Managing incoming calls with professional phone etiquette and directing enquiries appropriately
- Processing orders via email, phone and online
- Scheduling, organising and allocating jobs to driver sheets
- Applying for skip road permits
- Keep the vehicle and drivers' data up to date.
- Organising and maintaining filing systems, both physical and digital, to ensure easy retrieval of information
- Assisting with scheduling appointments, meetings, and maintaining calendars for team members
- Handling administrative support tasks such as photocopying, scanning, and ordering office supplies
- Collaborating with team members to streamline office procedures and improve efficiency
- Arranging maintenance visits for fleet and maintaining records.

Skills
- Proven office experience with a strong understanding of administrative procedures
- Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Exceptional phone etiquette and communication skills
- Experience in data entry with attention to detail
- Adept at multitasking in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
- Good clerical experience to support various administrative functions
- A team player with high level deication
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, enthusiatic and proffessional mannger
- Someone who is confident and a self motavated individual
- Can work under pressure as office is a busy, fast pace office
- Can multi-task
- Able to work independently
- Able to work well in a team, share responsilbities, communicate well and offer assistance to other members of staff when required

Experience preferred but not compulsory, in the waste, skip hire, haulage, or transport industry. Training will be provided on our transport software.
Must drive due to the office location in Tolleshubt Knights. There is very little public transport available in the area.
Full Time: Monday – Friday 7:45am – 5:45pm
