The Royal Oak is an independent pub passionate about providing great service, food, and drinks. The fresh produce sourced and used by our chefs delivers a high-quality pub menu and as a free house, we have a good relationship with several local craft breweries. As with our beer range, our wine list comprises of a varied range of grape varieties, predominantly from the old world.
One thing that is important to us is striving to create an inclusive work environment in which our FOH and BOH teams work closely together, welcoming everyone’s input to ensure the Oak is an inviting, open minded place to be.

What we can offer you
· Base line annual salary excluding service £32,500
. Target bases quarterly bonus (£4,000 per annum; £1,000 per quarter)
· Share of service charge (typically £400-£500 per month)
· Paid breaks
· 28 days holiday per year

. Someone who can oversee the daily running of the pub alongside the General manager
. Someone who has excellent customer engagment and strong floor service skills
· Someone who is Innovative and looking to build on and improve practices
· Someone who has a passion for making people smile and will deliver and maintain our high standards for service
· Someone who can adapt and tailor their service to a varying customer base
· Someone who is keen to help grow the business and progress in within the industry
· Someone who leads by example and is not afraid to get stuck in
