We are a small, family-run 18-bedded residential care home in Driffield, proudly rated ‘Good’ by the CQC, with ‘Outstanding’ in Well-Led. We are now looking for an experienced and motivated Care Home Manager to lead the next phase of our development.

About the Role
As Care Home Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the leadership, quality, and performance of our 18-bedded care home. You will be supported by an engaged ownership team and a committed, stable staff group.
You will also participate in an on-call rota, which is currently structured to be supportive and manageable. The Deputy Manager covers a full week of on-call each month, helping to ensure strong cover and a healthy work-life balance for the management team.
Your focus will be on maintaining high standards while driving continuous improvement toward an Outstanding CQC rating across all domains.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, motivate, and develop a stable and dedicated staff team
Ensure delivery of high-quality, person-centred care
Maintain and improve CQC compliance and standards
Build strong relationships with families, professionals, and external agencies
Oversee staffing, training, and performance management
Manage day-to-day operations and ensure smooth running of the service
Promote a positive, inclusive, and supportive culture
About You
Experienced Care Home Manager, or strong Deputy Manager ready to step up
Proven track record in a Good or Outstanding CQC-rated service
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or working towards)
Strong leadership and team development skills
Confident communicator with a hands-on, approachable style
Passionate about delivering high standards of care
What We Offer
£38,500 with flexibility to earn £40,000 annual salary - 6.6 weeks annual leave and additional birthday annual leave
