Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and professional Multi Drop Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering goods efficiently across designated routes, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries to our customers. Duties
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Conduct multiple daily deliveries to various locations within the assigned area, ensuring each parcel is delivered accurately.
- Load and unload goods, often requiring heavy lifting, with care and attention to safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with customers during delivery, providing excellent customer service and addressing any queries or concerns professionally.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation throughout the shift.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure roadworthiness and report any issues promptly.
- Plan efficient delivery routes to optimise time management and fuel consumption.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role, preferably with multi-drop experience.
- Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record.
- Experience in commercial driving and warehouse operations is advantageous.
- Ability to handle heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with customers and team members.
- Strong organisational skills with the capacity to manage multiple deliveries within tight schedules.
