We’re now looking for a reliable and hard-working team member to join our mobile pizza van team.
The Role – Mobile Pizza Van Team Member
This role is primarily based on our pizza van, working across regular village locations, events, and community services throughout North Devon.
You’ll be part of a small team responsible for delivering high-quality food and great customer service in a busy mobile environment.
Main responsibilities include:
Preparing and serving Neapolitan-style pizzas
Driving the pizza van to locations and events
Setting up, cleaning down, and maintaining high standards throughout service
Providing friendly and efficient customer service
Using tills, ordering systems, and communication apps confidently
Helping keep the van organised, stocked, and service-ready
Occasionally supporting other areas of the business, including stock deliveries or shifts at Barnstaple or Westward Ho!
As training develops, there may be opportunities to independently run certain van services.
Who We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who is:
Reliable, positive, and able to work well in a team
Comfortable working in busy services and on their feet
Confident using basic technology and systems
Flexible and willing to support different areas of the business when needed
Able to work independently once fully trained
Comfortable working evenings and weekends
Previous pizza-making or kitchen experience would be beneficial, but full training will be provided.
Important Information
Applicants must hold a full UK driving licence and be aged 21 or over for insurance purposes, as this role involves driving the pizza van.
Location & Future Base
The pizza van is currently operated from High Bickington, Umberleigh, however the operational base for this role is expected to relocate to Barnstaple Town Centre as the business continues to grow.
