We're looking for a reliable, organised, and friendly Housekeeper to join our team at Herons Mead Caravan Park. This role is for ensuring our luxury holiday accommodation is presented to the highest standard, supporting our cleaning contractors, managing housekeeping stock, and delivering an excellent experience for our guests.

What You'll Be DoingLodge Quality Control
- Inspect and quality-check all lodges after they have been cleaned by our external cleaning contractors.
- Use provided checklists to ensure every lodge meets our high standards before guest arrival.
- Sign off each property only when you are completely satisfied it is clean, tidy, and guest-ready.
- Request contractors to return and rectify any areas that do not meet the required standard.
- Report urgent maintenance issues immediately and record non-urgent items for future scheduling.
- Keep cleaning contractors updated on which accommodation is ready to be cleaned to ensure efficient turnaround on changeover days.
Guest Experience
- Provide a warm and professional welcome to arriving guests.
- Respond to guest enquiries and requests promptly, courteously, and professionally.
Linen & Laundry
- Collect, sort, and distribute linen to holiday accommodation and kitchen areas.
- Place linen orders based on occupancy levels and stock requirements.
- Wash and maintain laundry.
Stock Management
- Monitor stock levels of cleaning products, toiletries, and consumable supplies.
- Keep housekeeping stores and laundry areas clean, tidy, and well organised.
- Record stock usage and assist with reordering to maintain adequate supplies.
Team Support
- Work closely with our external cleaning contractors to ensure smooth operations and consistently high standards.
- Communicate effectively with the management team regarding housekeeping and maintenance issues.
About You
We're looking for someone who:
- Has excellent attention to detail and takes pride in maintaining exceptionally high standards.
- Is organised and able to prioritise work effectively, particularly on busy changeover days.
- Has good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Is confident working independently while also being a supportive team member.
- Is proactive, reliable, and takes ownership of their responsibilities.
- Has previous housekeeping or hospitality experience (preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided).
