Overview
We are seeking an experienced Solar PV Installations Manager to lead and oversee photovoltaic solar installation projects from inception to completion. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating teams, ensuring project timelines are met, and maintaining high standards of safety and quality. Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, scheduling, and execution of solar PV installation projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.
- Coordinate with installation teams, contractors, and clients to facilitate seamless project delivery.
- Oversee site activities, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards.
- Manage procurement of materials and equipment necessary for installation phases.
- Monitor progress through regular site inspections and reporting, addressing any issues promptly.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including risk assessments and progress reports.
- Implement effective time management strategies across teams to optimise productivity and minimise delays.
Requirements
- Level 3 Diploma or NVQ in Electrotechnical Installation; such as City & Guilds 2357 or 2365.
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671:2018)
- A Level 3 award in installation and Maintence of Small Scale Solar PV Systems & Battery Storage Systems
- Proven experience managing residential solar PV installation projects or similar renewable energy initiatives.
- Experience in using design software Opensolar.
- Experience in managing a minimum of 10 installations per week or more as the business grows.
- Excellent time management skills to coordinate multiple project phases simultaneously.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities with experience managing diverse teams on-site.
- Relevant technical knowledge of solar PV systems, electrical installations, and construction processes is desirable.
Pay: £45,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
