FLT Driver – Cardiff
Location: Cardiff
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm
Pay Rates
- Standard Rate: £13.33 per hour
- Overtime (after 37.5 hours): £19.99 per hour
Smart Solutions are currently recruiting for an experienced FLT Driver to join our client's busy warehouse operation in Cardiff. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a full-time role with regular weekday hours and enhanced overtime rates.
The Role
As an FLT Driver, you will play an important role in the day-to-day warehouse operation, ensuring goods are moved safely and efficiently while supporting the wider warehouse team.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Operating Counterbalance and/or Bendi (Flexi) forklift trucks safely and efficiently
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- Moving stock throughout the warehouse
- Picking and preparing orders for dispatch
- Carrying out stock replenishment and general warehouse duties
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment
- Adhering to all health and safety procedures at all times
What We're Looking For
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A minimum of 2 years' FLT driving experience
- A valid RTITB or equivalent accredited FLT licence
- A valid Counterbalance and/or Bendi (Flexi) licence
- Good attention to detail and a strong awareness of health and safety
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
- A reliable, hardworking, and positive attitude
