Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Hotel Housekeeper to maintain the cleanliness and organisation of guest rooms and public areas within our hotel, The Lodge by Cefn Tilla. This is our 13-room sister hotel to our main wedding venue, Cefn Tilla Court, 1 mile away. The ideal candidate will ensure a high standard of hygiene and comfort for our guests, contributing to an exceptional hospitality experience.
Previous hotel experience is ESSENTIAL. This role offers an excellent opportunity to be part of a professional team committed to delivering outstanding service.
Duties
- Clean and sanitise guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas in accordance with hotel standards
- Change bed linen, towels, and replenish amenities as required
- Ensure all surfaces, floors, and fixtures are spotless and well-maintained
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to management promptly
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, cleaning products, and guest amenities
- Follow health and safety procedures to maintain a safe environment for guests and staff
- Maintain laundry organisation
- Maintain organised storage of cleaning supplies and equipment
Skills
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping is essential with a 2 year minimum.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently within a team setting is essential as often will be solo working but will have additional help after busy weddings.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures is essential
- Flexibility to work various shifts over any days including mornings and afternoons as required by the business needs.

16 hours min. a week, days vary due to the business needs so the individual would need to be flexible and willing to work weekends if needed.
Driving essential due to rural area.
