DGS Service Solutions are recritining dedicated Cleaning Operative to join our team at the Richmond Centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across the shopping centre. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a keen eye for detail and previous janitorial experience to contribute to a professional environment.
This role is 12 hours per week with additional hours available
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of throughout the shopping centre.
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and products to ensure surfaces are hygienic and presentable.
- Maintain stock levels of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or equipment issues.
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment at all times.
- Dispose of waste responsibly and ensure recycling procedures are adhered to.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning activities.
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently and independently.
- Good organisational skills to manage daily cleaning schedules effectively.
- Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as floor polishers, vacuum cleaners, and scrubbers is advantageous.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning practices.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a positive attitude are essential qualities for success in this role.
Pay: £12.81 per hour
