Duties
- Lead and coordinate all warehouse operations, goods receiving, and inventory management.
- Supervise and motivate warehouse team members to achieve operational goals efficiently and safely.
- Oversee the use of warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory and process transactions accurately.
- Implement process improvements to enhance workflow, reduce errors, and increase productivity across the warehouse.
- Operate a forklift and pallet truckfor material movement, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Manage Waste.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols related to heavy lifting, mechanical equipment, and materials handling procedures.
- Assist with making emergency deliveries if needed
Requirements
- Proven experience in warehouse operations with a strong understanding of logistics processes.
- Demonstrated team management skills with the ability to lead, train, and develop staff effectively.
- Hands-on experience with warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Mechanical knowledge related to warehouse equipment such as forklifts
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of goods receiving procedures, materials handling techniques, and process improvement strategies.
- Valid forklift certification preferred;
