We are moving our Penryn site imminently to a larger space with a woodfired oven
About the Role
We are looking for kitchen and cafe team members who will be based between our Falmouth and Penryn sites. The position is a combination of:
- cooking to order from our menu
- working as part of the bakery team to produce pastries, cakes and savoury baked goods
- making hot drinks/serving customers
This position is majority kitchen based and some food experience is preferred. Some of the role involves a combination of kitchen and front of house duties so the ability to juggle tasks is key.
This role is 36 hours per week four days per week 7am-4pm or 8pm-5pm. You will work 4 days per week including regular weekends. Two of your days off per week are generally consecutive.
Please note that this is a permanent position and it is full time so not suitable for individuals still in education.
About You
Interested in food, cooking and with either kitchen experience or a real desire to develop your skills and confidence in the kitchen.
Responsible and reliable with a hardworking attitude.
Friendly with customers and colleagues maintaining a positive outlook.
Able to work quickly and efficiently.
Willing to get stuck in; we all do the cleaning and washing up!
Able to cope with the demands of being on your feet all day with lots to do.
Able and willing to travel to both the Falmouth and Penryn sites
