We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic Support Practitioner to join our friendly team at Playspaces Nursery in Montrose.
This role is designed to provide additional support during our busiest part of the day, helping ensure children continue to receive high-quality care, attention and meaningful interactions.
About the Role
Working from 11:00am–2:00pm, you will:
- Support children with personal care, including nappy changing and toileting.
- Provide cover while practitioners take their lunch breaks.
- Help maintain a calm, nurturing and engaging environment for children aged 0–5 years.
- Assist with mealtimes and daily routines.
- Work collaboratively with the nursery team to ensure the highest standards of care and wellbeing are maintained.
- Build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- Minimum of an NC in Childhood Practice (SCQF Level 6) in Early Learning and Childcare/Childhood Practice.
- A genuine passion for working with young children.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- A caring, patient and positive approach.
- Knowledge of child development and safeguarding responsibilities.
- Previous experience working within an early learning and childcare setting.
