Are you a HGV Class 1 Driver who is either looking to semi -retire ,or perhaps you are just looking for one or two shifts per week to supplement your income . If so this could be the perfect solution for you .
We have several exciting opportunities for HGV Class 1 Non ADR Tanker drivers to work on an ongoing basis for United Utilities . These roles will suit drivers who want to achieve the perfect work/life balance. You can choose how many days you want to work and what days you want to work on . Change your availability on a week by week basis ,plus you can even be booked on standby meaning you will get paid and you might not even leave the house .
The role is basically driving a Class 1 articulated tanker filled with water from A to B with no loading /unloading involved and the work is of a non physical nature . If you are booked on standby relief you will be paid a retainer 101.68 plus if called out you will also receive an advanced payment. No breaks will be deducted plus you accrue a generous amount of holiday pay . This is a response service so we will need you to have a bit of flexibility on times on occasion.
