EV Autocentre is an independent electric vehicle specialist and the dedicated EV department of AC13. As our business continues to grow, we're looking for a skilled and motivated EV Technician to join our expanding team.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a growing independent EV specialist, carrying out high-voltage diagnostics, repairs and servicing on a wide range of electric vehicles. While general mechanical experience is important, we're primarily looking for someone who is passionate about electric vehicles and wants to build a long-term career in this fast-moving industry.

Job Role
As an EV Technician, you'll be responsible for:
- Carrying out high-voltage diagnostics, testing and repairs on electric vehicles.
- Diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical faults.
- Performing routine servicing, maintenance and repairs on both electric, hybrid and ICE vehicles.
- Using diagnostic equipment to accurately identify faults.
- Following all high-voltage safety procedures and manufacturer guidelines.
- Completing work to a consistently high standard.
- Supporting the continued growth of our specialist EV workshop.
Working Hours
Monday - Friday: 8:30am - 5:30pm
What We're Looking For
Essential
- IMI Level 3 Electric/Hybrid Vehicle qualification (or above).
- Confident carrying out high-voltage diagnostics and repairs.
- Competent in general servicing and mechanical repairs.
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Own tools (specialist EV equipment provided where required).
- A genuine passion for electric vehicle technology.
Desirable
- Experience working with Tesla vehicles.
- Previous experience within an EV diagnostic & repairs.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to continue developing your technical skills.
