Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality support to individuals in care home , assisting with daily activities and ensuring their comfort and well-being. This role offers an opportunity to make a positive difference in people's lives through personalised care and attentive service. The Care Assistant will work closely with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to deliver tailored care plans, fostering independence and dignity for those in need. Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming in accordance with care plans
- Support clients with mobility and daily activities to promote independence
- Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals and ensure accurate record-keeping
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members to ensure consistent and compassionate care
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients at all times
- Document care provided accurately using IT systems and adhere to organisational policies
- Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to minimise risks within the care environment
Qualifications
- Must have working experience working in care
- Must have a care certificate or NVQ level 2 in health & social care
- Good organisational skills with the ability to follow detailed care plans accurately
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Competent IT skills for documentation and communication purposes
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to support others’ well-being
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work shifts as required.

Pay: £12.71 per hour
