Responsibilities
- Welcome visitors and clients in a courteous and professional manner, ensuring a positive first impression
- Answer incoming phone calls using proper phone etiquette, directing calls as appropriate
- Manage front desk duties, including signing in visitors and maintaining visitor logs
- Perform data entry tasks accurately using Microsoft Office applications, Google Workspace, and QuickBooks
- Handle administrative duties such as filing, photocopying, and organising documents
- Assist with scheduling appointments and maintaining calendars
- Support the team with general clerical tasks to ensure efficient office operations
- Maintain a tidy reception area, ensuring it reflects a professional environment
Qualifications
- Previous office or administrative experience is desirable but not essential; training will be provided
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Google Workspace, and data entry software such as QuickBooks
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Good phone etiquette and communication skills are essential for interacting with visitors and callers
- Typing speed of at least 40 words per minute with high accuracy
- Demonstrated clerical experience or familiarity with office procedures is advantageous
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
