Senior Support Worker
Salary: £29 244.80 for 37 hours per week (25 hours admin and 12 hours direct support, direct support hours optional)
Hours: 37 per week (mostly Monday to Friday with some flexibility to work very occasional evenings and weekends)

Summary of post
The aims of this role are to work together with the F&M Manager and Deputy Manager in coordinating and providing person-centred support for Centre 404’s Finding and Matching Service, supporting service users to become valued and participating members of the community in which they live by achieving maximum independence and integration.
This role will take a lead on organising rotas of case work for service users and families, and the holder will play a pivotal role in coordinating the staff team. The holder will assist the team with invoicing for the service and take a lead with organising staff training. This role covers administration of cases for new referrals and the holder will be expected to encourage and develop the team to promote the wellbeing of the service users and ensure that they have fulfilled and
meaningful lives.

The successful candidates will work together with the management teams and other Senior Support Workers to maintain and drive quality service delivery by being the primary day to day contact for staff on site.
You will lead designated teams within the service and be responsible for supervision, coaching, monitoring and record keeping of the teams.
In addition, you will assist with inductions, spot checks and observations of staff practice. This will include leading formal meetings, checking daily communication through handover and reporting systems and acting as a role model by highlighting areas of good practice and challenging areas of development.
The ideal candidate will be organised, have good attention to detail, and be enthusiastic about delivering an excellent quality service with a friendly and confident approach. They will also be able to manage a varied workload and have a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
