Vehicle Fitter
£31,537 - £34,434 per annum | HGV Licence required | Full Time (37 hours per week) | Permanent
Torridge District Council are seeking a skilled Vehicle Fitter to join our team and help keep our fleet operating safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing a comprehensive maintenance and repair service for the Council's fleet of approximately 45-50 vehicles. You will carry out routine servicing, diagnostics, repairs, and vehicle inspections, ensuring that all vehicles comply with current legislation and remain roadworthy at all times. You will also prepare vehicles for MOT inspections and ensure they are maintained to the required standards throughout their operational life.
This position requires someone who is organised, reliable, and able to work effectively to strict service schedules and Health & Safety inspection deadlines.
