We're looking for a positive, motivated and food-loving individual to join our team at Bake Shop - General Store in Ely for approximately 25 - 30 hours per week.
Bake Shop is far more than a bakery or a coffee shop. Alongside our award-winning sourdough and pastries, we stock a carefully curated range of farmhouse cheeses, artisan charcuterie, natural wines, craft beers and exceptional food from across Europe. We also host regular wine evenings and continue to develop new ideas that make the shop Ely's most distinctive food destinations.
We're looking for someone with experience in food retail, hospitality or a similar customer-focused environment and, above all, a genuine passion for great food and drink. If you have strong transferable skills and a willingness to learn, we'd also love to hear from you.
We're looking for someone who is:

- Available to work at least one weekend day and one evening each week
The role will include:
- Delivering exceptional customer service
- Developing an excellent knowledge of our products and producers
- Preparing coffee to the highest standard
- Supporting the General Manager with the day-to-day running of the shop
- Helping develop new products, events and ideas as the business continues to grow
- Maintaining high standards of presentation, cleanliness and stock management
