Duties
- Provide professional hair styling and barbering services tailored to client preferences
- Deliver excellent customer service by creating a welcoming and comfortable environment
- Consult with clients to understand their desired look and offer expert advice on styles and treatments
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitised
- Keep up-to-date with current trends, techniques, and products in hair styling and barbering
- Communicate effectively with clients to ensure satisfaction and foster repeat business
- Manage appointment schedules efficiently, ensuring timely service delivery
- Uphold health and safety standards in accordance with industry regulations
Requirements
- Proven experience or training in hair styling or barbering is preferred
- Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to engage confidently with clients
- Excellent customer service skills, demonstrating professionalism and attentiveness
- Ability to work well within a team as well as independently
- Organised with good time management skills to handle multiple appointments effectively
