Working at University Hospitals Dorset, you will play a key role in improving workforce systems, enhancing data quality, and supporting important compliance reporting, while identifying opportunities for smarter and more efficient ways of working.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing and analysing large datasets, ensuring accuracy and high data quality, and clearly reporting insights
Providing clear, jargon-free recommendations to support system and process improvements
Handling queries into the team, identifying issues and driving resolutions
Supporting and producing compliance reports across the Trust
Maintaining and improving workforce data sets
Identifying opportunities for automation and service improvement
You will engage with colleagues at all levels across the Trust, including discussing complex or sensitive topics, offering guidance and support in effective use of workforce systems.
The ideal candidate will be confident in using Excel (experience in Power Query is desirable, but a willingness and ability to learn new systems is essential), experienced in working with large datasets, and have a proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement. An interest or experience in compliance, reporting and workforce systems, such as ESR, would be advantageous.
