Job Summary
We are seeking two reliable and hardworking Tarmac Labourers to join our team for a job in Brighton (Brighton and Hove Albion ground). The job will be from Monday 29th June until the 2nd July.
This role involves assisting with the preparation, laying and maintenance of tarmac surfaces on various construction sites. The ideal candidates will be physically fit, safety-conscious, and possess good communication skills to work effectively within a team environment. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience in the construction industry while contributing to high-quality infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with the preparation of sites, including clearing and setting up work areas
- Wheelbarrowing tarmac
- Maintaining a clean and organised work environment to ensure safety standards are met
- Supporting management in daily site operations and logistical tasks
- Performing routine maintenance on equipment and tools used during projects
- Communicating effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow
- Adhering strictly to health and safety regulations at all times
Requirements
- Previous experience in construction or labouring roles is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided
- Good physical fitness and stamina for manual labour over extended periods
- Willingness to undertake routine maintenance tasks and follow safety procedures diligently
Pay: £13.00 per hour
