We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered General Nurse (RGN) to join our growing team in Birmingham, B24.
Position Details
- Role: Registered General Nurse (RGN)
- Location: Birmingham, B24
- Salary: £18.00 – £21.00 per hour (depending on experience)
- Shifts Available: Days and Nights

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to service users.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individual care plans.
- Administer medications safely and accurately.
- Monitor and maintain clinical standards and compliance.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records.
Requirements
- Valid NMC registration as a Registered General Nurse (RGN).
- Ability to work both day and night shifts.
- Strong clinical and communication skills.
- Compassionate, reliable, and professional approach to patient care.
- Previous nursing experience is desirable but not essential.

Duties
- Provide comprehensive patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing interventions
- Administer prescribed medications accurately and safely in accordance with established protocols
- Monitor patient vital signs and observe for any changes in condition, reporting significant findings promptly
- Assist with diagnostic procedures and coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams
- Educate patients and their families on health management, medication use, and post-discharge care plans
- Maintain detailed and accurate medical records in compliance with legal and organisational standards
- Ensure infection control procedures are strictly followed to uphold a safe environment for patients and staff
Qualifications
- Valid registration as a Registered Nurse with the relevant regulatory body
- Proven experience in patient care within a clinical setting
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology
- Proficiency in medication administration and understanding of pharmacology principles
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to provide compassionate patient support
- Organised, detail-oriented, and capable of working effectively under pressure
- Commitment to continuous professional development and adherence to healthcare regulations
